Michael Comer is President of Glenmore Country Club, a privately-owned club located just outside Charlottesville, Virginia. He has held the President role for five years as well as project manager for Glenmore Associates and other commercial projects. He also has been an acting General Partner for Glenmore Associates for the last three years.
“Glenmore Country Club is a special community that I have been proud to call ‘a home away from home,’” says Mr. Comer. “Our members have made the club one of the most relaxed, family-friendly clubs in the area.”
Having been actively involved in several real estate projects, Mr. Comer also has held the position of project manager for The Kessler Group in charge of residential home construction and commercial properties as well as controller for all of The Kessler Group developments.
Prior to becoming a Charlottesville community member, Mr. Comer worked for the FUTURES Golf Tour for three years where he held the titles of Rules Official, Assistant Media Director, Assistant Tournament Director, and Tournament Director.
Mr. Comer holds a degree from the South Dakota State University from the College of Engineering, and a business degree from Mankato State University. He also obtained his United States Golf Association (USGA) rules certification in 1986.
